When Captain Abraham Lincoln was born on 13 May 1744, in Amityville, PA, his father, John Lincoln Sr., was 28 and his mother, Rebekah Flowers, was 24. He married Bathsheba Herring on 9 June 1770, in Augusta, Virginia. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Jefferson, Kentucky in 1782. He died on 19 May 1786, in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 42, and was buried in Long Run Cemetery, Anchorage, Kentucky.
